Re: Interior paint fail

Check the classifieds, they pop up all the time, or find a car that's being parted out and get all the pieces you can from one source. Craigslist is a very good resource for parts

Re: Interior paint fail

I have removed plastic interior paint by soaking the parts in hot water and pine sol overnight which will not harm the plastic. You will need a stiff brush to scrub the paint off. I have also tried a mild paint remover gel which took the paint off with some work and did not harm the plastic.

Re: Interior paint fail

Good thing is that these parts are black on all cars I think. I'd look in junk yards first, should be cheap parts there compared to Ebay.

Check out thirdgen ranch. He's in NE IL he should have everything you need. From what I've seen, his prices are very reasonable. He's active on this board and has a ebay store and wesite. It may be worth a trip up. He has a thirdgen party at his house. Maybe you could attend and pick up some parts.
