How is this caused?

Can someone please help me out, I would like to know how this is caused, what part it is that needs to be replaced, where I can get it, price and of course, how difficult to install... Thanks in advance. I gotta do the other side also, that one is more to the front of the window tho.

There's little valor covered dads inside your door that the window slides on the valor wars off and will cause that to window tint.

They are $17 each at your local GM Dealership, I ordered 4 on wednesday. They have a little sheet with the parts on it for the door, I believe it was a #4, if thats even remotely helpful.

Re: How is this caused?

I believe they are called window guide felts. They mount on top of the door, underneath the black plastic trim and have soft furry material on the side that faces the window.I had the same problem on my old 82 camaro in the same place as your picture

Re: How is this caused?

You have two of them per door. They window rides against them and they keep the window from rattling. When you install them they should have light pressure against the window. Run the the window up and down after putting them on before re-installing the door panel to check how it is.
