Repairing Dashboard Crack?

I was wondering if there was anything out there that i could use to seal a crack on my dashboard.

The crack is right above the steering wheel and it really bothers me. The rest of the dashboard is in top shape and its just that spot that needs fixing.

I really dont want to buy one of those dashboard cover things nor do i want to replace the whole dashboard.

any info on this appreciated.

Yes there is! Do a word search on "Color-Plus" or "Surflex". Check thier website for a customer explaining how he did his Porsche dash, good article. Mine needs repaired also.

Another option is plastic welding kit. You can get one from harborfreight.

Heh, thanks for the shout out man. Not sure the link was complete above though or maybe it's just my phone

OP, for your repair, you might get away with just the patch looking pretty good. Just use this after you epoxy/sand or whatever:
http://www.harborfreight.com/16-12-oz-iron-armor-black-truck-bed-coating-60783.html
Matched stock look pretty well. Although if you have one crack, in time, there will be more. If you're willing for the full repair/resurface, see my thread link above.

Good luck!

Yeah... sorry link was abbreviated. Fail on my part.

Still a great write up.
