Check your tires for wear or busted radials, tire air pressure and correct wheel balancing. Everytime over the last 15 years when I had that problem one of the three was the cause.

Tires. I bet my lunch you need to start there. It is amazing what a new set will do for the handling of our cars. My 92 was doing that in the spring. I got a new set of tires and viola, I could let go of my wheel and for at least a mile my car will run true with no shake of the dash or drifting.

I just put brand new tires on a few months ago, they only have 2,000 miles on them.

Double check your wheel balancing. Also check for a busted strut.

Do you have all the screws in place? Are they stripped?

There are 4 screws in the top - they are in the defroster vents, 2 in each vent. And then there's 6-8 screws under the dash lip, all the way across the front. They all take 7mm socket.

For the OP, I agree with 86niterider - sounds like a balancing issue - make sure you get spin balanced and not bubble balanced.

Im missing one screw from the vents and 2 others were forced straight through the plastic by PO. There are about half or more of the ones underneath missing. What size are the screws that go in each spot and where could I get more? I would like to get screws with a wider top on them for the ones in the vent because the holes look wider from where some were forced through.

Re: Dash vibrating?

JY has tons of them, otherwise take out one, careful to not drop one down a vent, and take it to the store with you. Might try small washers, size depends on how big the holes are now

Re: Dash vibrating?

Junk Yard. Probably easier to take one that's still attached to your dash to your parts store
