Look what i found (Digital Gauges)

I'm thinking about using them in my car but then again they might end up in the for sale section. I found these in my dads parts room. Its a brand new set of Cyberdyne gauges for a 1982-1987 Camaro Z-28. The box was sealed & all the paperwork (but I really don't understand the directions), sending unit, tinted plexiglass & wiring was in the box too. Can anyone tell me how to hook these up? Are these gauges any good or should I sell them & go with another brand?

I had that kit on my 88 camaro in 1994 it very easy to install you will remove all the gauges but the speedo one. the tach, bat, fuel, and coolant temp will hookup by the alligator clips to the cluster.

Once you got them all hooked up did you have any problems with any LEDs going out, inaccurate readings or anything like that? I just want to make sure this is a pretty good set of gauges before I install them

Be careful though.
They also make the Terminators, so don't be surprised if your car starts to try destroying mankind.

Re: Look what i found (Digital Gauges)

Your story sounds farmiliar! Were these on ebay just a few weeks ago?
I had the Nordskog version for a few years. They got old after some time so i went back to OEM gauges.

The Nordskog have a digital ODO & can be calibrated on the car.Acording to what gears you have.

Nord was started by one of the partners that also started Cyberdyne. So both units are basically the same.

Re: Look what i found (Digital Gauges)

I had a set in my 1983 Z-28 some (15 years ago). I could never get the temp gauge to read properly. I evenadjusted the little plastic screws on the board but it never read accurately. I liked it - was unique.
