Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

It looks really good. How does it look from inside? Can you tell it's a cover? Give some more details or post up detailed pics if you have some.

I'll take a couple more pics tommorow. Or if i go back out it really looks good. You cannot tell at all until you look at the corner and see this small crack i have showing. It really does a amazing job covering it all up.

Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

I too think it looks good, and I am also interested in seeing more detailed pics. Does it wrap underneath on the front edge or can you see that there's a cover on it at the front?

Do update when you get a chance.

Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

Here is some More Pic But. The only problem is they seem to hang out at the end it folds right underneath all of it and stops where the old dash is I'm just hoping i won't have to take the dash off because i forgot to cut holes in it just in case i had to.

But no more thn thsoe folding a little bit out or the crack i have in the corner. You cannot tell at all that it is a cap unless like they say that you are a super professional then you would know.

It was a For the money. and has lifetime warranty

Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

I got a 73 ford truck some time back that had one of these on it. It came loose from the original dash. Looked good, just had to grab the dash before you punched that 390.

Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

It does look pretty good. I would think that it wouldn't be too hard for the manufacturer to design it as a complete cover. They could not only have it cover the front edge, but also the sides. For that, it would require the removal of the factory pad, slide the new cover on and then reinstall the entire assembly.

As far as this cover, it does look pretty good and would be a great piece if the dash is severely cracked.

Re: Plastic Dash Pad?

Make sure you protect it from sitting long periods in the sun. I bought the same cover for mine. I live in south MS, & it gets pretty hot in the summer. Mine warped in about 2 months. It now has waves in it. It looked really good when first installed, though.
