92 RS, 4th Gen Dash, Autometer Gauge install
I am in the process of installing Autometer gauges with a custom panel that was purchased from a LS1tech member that makes these for the 4th gen guys. I ordered a blank panel and drilled the holes for the gauges using a hole saw kit and a dremel to open the holes up some to allow the gauges to fit more freely. Was a pretty straight forward process. I am still working on the wiring to make it a clean install.
I used the Phantom 2 gauges. I like the plain look of them and black look when they are lit up. In addition to the stocker gauges, i added a Boost/Vacuum gauge that i will be using for vacuum for now and a Fuel pressure gauge. I also put a Harlan shift light in the panel. I am using 5/16" Painless LED indicators. The indicators are not installed in the pics in this post. With 8 gauges and a Shift light, the dash panel is going to look pretty busy.
I am going to finish it with a chrome carbon fiber overlay. Just waiting on that to arrive from New York. I will post more pics once complete in the next couple days.

Wow those look good at night, now I want to figure something out for my regular phantom gauges, was thinking blue LEDs, but autometer wants a ton for them and I'm not sure they'd even look right at night. Guess I'll have to buy one to try out.

Looks great! How bright are your led's? I am going to be doing the same thing this weekend but do not want my signal and high beam indicators to be overpowering at night.
