How much would you pay?
I recently found this set of fourth gen seats at a local yard that is completly void of holes or tears (really dirty though, however I will clean them). What makes them special is that they are from a 30th anniversary camaro and have the logos on them as well. If I were to get them and clean them up how much do you think they would be worth? I have seen some websites selling them far from perfect for $200 for a set, but I want to know what fellow Camaro guys like me would pay (quite frankly I am not a big fan of the fourth gen seats and they dont match my interior anyway but they are pretty nice). The following pic isnt of them but they look just like them but a little soiled (but they will be cleaned, anyone suggest a cleaner?).

I will be heading back tomorrow and if they are in my price range I will make sure to pull them out (along with some fenders for my D&D) but the list is up in the business so I will know when I get there.

I've had great results with a product called Blue Coral Dry Clean. I had a Cavalier once that looked like the PO had a coffee slinging fight in the tan interior. A few hours of scrubbing with BLue Coral and she looked fantastic! It comes in a foaming can and you can grab an interior brush to scrub with. For deeply soiled areas allow it to soak and then blot with a clean damp towel. You can also spray it on heavily and vacuum up access product/dampness with a shop vac when you are done.

So does anyone have any ball park numbers of how much the seats could be sold for in perfect condition (they will be after I clean them).

I'm not quite sure about what they want for these ones but the front seats are $50 and the backs are either $30 or $50.

Re: How much would you pay?
You could probably talk them into $75. Not easy to resell though if thats what youre planning. Theyre pretty basic 4th gen seats. Non electric or heated, no special lumbar adjustment, nothing like that. I will say they are more comfy than the 3rd gen seats though. And the back seat flip down part is one piece instead of 2 like the 3rd gen seats.

Local pull-a-part yard here charges $10 a seat (non-power). They consider the rear a bench seat. $30 total.

) While some third gen seats are split ones alot of them arent (in fact I havent seen many splits, but they are out there!) If they wont go to $75 then I guess I am going to go to the bank so I can pull out some extra cash! Supreme Member

Re: How much would you pay?
Mine had the split seat. I thought about cutting off the lil bars on the center hump that held the seat backs in since I went to the 1 piece, but they arent even visible with the one piece.

Re: How much would you pay?
I used to leave my back seat down, untill i moved my amps. now if i leave the seats down theyre too visible, so i keep the seat up.

Re: How much would you pay?
Thats a good reason. I also used to keep some of m school papers back there, and you can imagine what it was like driving around with the windows down and the seat up.
