Stock Headliner Color Codes?
i have the grey interior, and am thinking about buying an abs plastic headliner. if i do, i will buy it without the fabric, and might spray paint it, or else i will buy some fabric. im wondering what color code is the grey. or does anyone have any other ideas as to a new headliner? i am looking at the one from 1aauto.com. the plastic abs headliner without fabric on it, for about 150$ (http://www.1aauto.com/1A/headliners/...51/472649/1986)
if anyone has any tips/ tricks for putting fabric on the headliner, all comments are welcome... thanks!

Re: Stock Headliner Color Codes?
The tying is, for an abs headliner, that's one of the cheapest I could find. As far as my abilities, I ciupd do it. Quality on the other hand.. look. I work with a guy who's done upholstery for years. If I buy the one without upholstery on it I could go to JoAnn fabrics and buy headliner material for cheaper than what they have online and have him put the fabric on there for somewhat cheap. He's offered to do so. That might be what I do. But ojly if the headliner I tried to fix with fiberglass resin and cloth doesn't hold and falls apart again. Anyways, thanks and keep rye ideas coming. They help a lot.

Re: Stock Headliner Color Codes?
I found that classicindustries.com had fabric that match stock the best. I have med dark grey interior and ordered fabric from them. It matched really good. Joanns has headliner fabric for cheap but only in a few colors. If you don't care about 100% color match this would be an affordable option. From my experience it is not too difficult for adhering fabric to headliner. Is your stock headliner board too far gone for recovery? Stock ones can be fixed with fiberglass resin. Check out this thread.
