Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

For $100 I got:
-Center console with clock
-Shifter plate
-Never used pioneer rear speakers, still in wrapping!
-Mint rear speaker covers
-Door sill trim pieces
-NOS GM window sweep (unfortunately he only had one)
-Radio trim plate

Pretty excited! Need to figure out how to get this clock wired up!

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

That's awesome! I love when I get stuff I need for my car. I bought a fuse cover off off a guy in here, thinking was my last interior piece needed. Went to armorial today and realise I need the rear seat plastic cover on drivers side. So if anyone has one let me know!

I think it was wired to the "constant power" circuit for the radio, from the factory...

"..Rear seat plastic cover.." I probably have it, but you need to be more specific... I cannot picture it...

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

It's the piece that fits over the seat bracket, there are two in front, and two on each rear front seat. The fronts and rear are a little different, in the way they look.

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

This is what I use for searching, I use searchtempest.com to search multiple cities at once, and bookmarked the search so everyday all I have to do is click on it and search all the updated listings.

I put the search terms as iroc z28 camero camaro....that way I pick up all the ads that misspell camaro. I've gotten tons of stuff from "camero" listings

For $100 I got an IROC hood with louvers, both rear lights, the front chin spoiler/side ground effects for a 90-92 IROC, the entire dash/wiring harness, and some other odds and ends

If you have the wire pigtail for the clock you can splice it into the radio wiring.Thats what i did in both of my irocs

Got a box full of them (there's all sorts of them in there for all 4 corners, I think) on my back porch. Need a pic of the other 7 so I know what I need to keep first...

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

you guys are getting some good deals

our craigslist here is usually pretty slim pickings, but I did get my TA off of there (non-running of course but next to no rust) for $500.

I've had better luck with our local pick n' pulls. Also helps if you make friends with the guys there - managed to fill my car up last time for $100 (grid tails, dual fan setup, wonder bar, sway bar, and misc hardware).

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

Hooked the clock up to 12 volts and found it works, and keeps time well. Didn't even need to lube it up.

Picture of it when my friend and I tested it

Picture of mine (left) after I polished it, next to my friend's clock we fixed while he was here..unpolished. I polished his afterwards, didn't turn out as well as mine unfortunately.

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

Ok Aqualord, here is how you get on craigslist, type in craigslist. org in your google search bar. Then you will see a page full of different stuff, under for sale area, you will see auto parts, click on it, then where it says search type in camaro and hit enter on your key board. You should see all parts for all gens there. If you have a certain part you are looking for type that in. I always just put camaro in, that way i can see all parts. Good luck!

Re: Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!

I'm getting ready to sell my console and that stuff that cheap. I'm sick of parts crowding my house. I wish someone local would make an offer and take the stuff off my hands. Nice find though.

Had a pretty nice craigslist score today!-vzsc9l.jpg

Rear locking compartment and kick panel speakers, bose/delco sound system, with key for the lock and wire harness. I'm on a roll

Gonna have to see how to mount the compartment (I believe there is an article on here somewhere), and lay out the wire harness to see what connections I need to make.
