1991 trans am door panel

First off let me say I am new and this is my first post. I am trying to remove the door panel because the power lock buttons are not working. I am having trouble removing the plastic part around the door handle. It looks as though there is small round cover that could popped off and a screw may be underneath it. I want to make sure that is what it is or if there is something else I am missing. I can' seem to get it to pop out. I do not want to keep trying if it is not suppose to come out.

Thanks

I need to know if the small circle behind the handle pops out. This is only place that I can't get to pop out, there are no screws anywhere else on the handle. The pc that has the bird on it pops out but there is no screw behind it.

It is the door latch, There is no window crank it has power windows. I have the arm rest and cup holder off but I cannot get the door latch which is the picture in the attachment off. If you notice in the picture there is a small section with a bird on it, that part pops out but there was no screw behind it. The only other option I see is the small circle but it is not wanting to pop out.

I'm not sure what i am doing wrong with this picture. When I preview the post it shows my picture but now it has a link. When I click the link the picture shows up not sure if it will work for you or not.

Yes, the Round Black Cover can be popped off, and there is a Phillips Head screw behind there, Remove the Screw, and the Handle trim Panel can be removed.

yup hes right, i took a look at mine and i thought you meant there was a circle thing behind the entire door panel, and when i took mine off i didnt even think that is the one you were talking about. but apparently some people have rivets? and they had to drill theirs out.
