Hi guys, i'm currently in the process of a near full restoration. The car is a 90 GTA and since I had to strip the interior due to a rusted drivers floor pan I will also be restoring my interior as well as the exterior. I will need to replace the beechwood carpet that came in my 90 GTA. So far it looks like I will be getting my carpet from either Hawks or RockAuto as they have the best prices and both are made from ACC. My question is what is the closest colour match to beechwood these days? It seems it's between Cognac 9205 or Cam Tan 7037....any input would be appreciated. This is the beechwood cloth interior that was in the GTA from 88-91 thanks!

I have a beechwood '90 and seem to remember checking on this a long time ago and Cognac was the color of my carpeting. I think it might have been when I ran the RPO codes??? I'll do them again and let you know what I find out.

Cognac is a little darker then original. But it is a nice match. There was just a whole discussion on this over on turbotransam.com

Call Hawks. I did this right before PT and was a little hesitant as I had the original Beechwood from Car Motorsports. Unfortunately the guy that installed it kind of made a mess out of it. The stuff hawks sent intially looked like it was not going to be even close but one I got it layed out and installed it looked as good as the car ever has inside.

I think it is Doeskin. It is what Hawks recommended when I called them.
