Dash pad crack - fix?
I know there are a million threads on fixing the cracks in the dash pads, but I'm just looking for a way to stop it from spreading. I attached a picture of it. This is the ONLY spot on the entire dash pad.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I actually have seen that thread before, I didn't think of it until now. I could just use that epoxy that you used. Where can I get it and what is it called?

I had mine crack in the same place. Used some black RTV filled it in and smoothed it out with my finger.

great! good luck. I love the spray on bedliner to cover the fix. it's the right color and texture for these pads

Theres also a place in PA called "Color plus" they are a leather repair company. There is an article on thier site about repairing dashpads I was thinking of trying, looks promising. I've used thier leather products before on my Corvette and it was excellent.

Re: Dash pad crack - fix?
SEM has a texture spray that is probably a little better to use than bedlining.

To stop the crack you need to drill holes at the both ends of the crack before you repair it..goodluck

Re: Dash pad crack - fix?
Do you think this would work to fill in cracks? I plan on wrapping my dash with simulated carbon fiber, instead of buying a new one, but I need something to hide the cracks so it's not seen through the carbon wrap
