Seat Covers

What are some good (fitment/looks) seat covers? Nothing *****.

I'm driving my car to work and i regularly get greasy/oily, and i don't want to completely ruin my seats.

Re: Seat Covers

See what AutoZone, KMart, WalMart etc have. I know I know-- cherries & tinkerbell come to mind, but they also have the vinyl, imitation leather, & that water proof stuff ppl put in jeeps.
There are quite a few designs, colors, materials to choose from.
If you're not concerned with any particular material // design, get whatever is cost effective to keep your seats clean & in good condition.

Re: Seat Covers

do you mean one step above tossing a towel on the seat like the WalMart and auto store seat covers which are kept in stock? Or, do you mean the ones that actually form fit the seat and look like they are upoholstery such as Coverking brand sold on amazon but cost $150 ?

I don't mind paying extra for good fitment and looks.

on Ebay, there is a seller named.......and I'm doing this from memory mind you, Igee or is it Iggee? They resell seat covers which look strikingly similar to the ones I purchased on Amazon from Coverking.
I bought them for my 4th gen. Igee (whatever) had them for $50 more on Ebay than Coverking on Amazon so I went with Coverking

you should check out both. I bought the faux leather and they fit tight and look like upholstery from the factory. For my 3rd gen I did the whole re-skin because my seats were tired and I needed to add some foam. The Coverking has a little padding with them as well. Be prepared to pay north of $150 just for the fronts

While you are on Amazon, if your steering wheel is tired as well, Wheelskin leather wraps are awesome. You lace it on and it looks factory.

Those sound really nice and is something I would be interested in.I did not realize you could get them for that price.Ive really had my heart set on having mine recovered with a black and gray combination synthetic leather that would wipe down easily. Moneys tight so it will have to Wait. By the way I used to work hot tar and have also worked in a machine/welding shop and would wear coveralls. Removing them before getting in to my truck was the only thing saving the seats. If your dealing with grease and oil and jumping in to your car that way you will destroy any thing other than vinyl with in a very short time. And putting down a towel until you can get changed is not a bad idea.Using my Camaro as my DD,that includes work ( building forms and poring concrete at the moment ) su-ks but we do what we must.

I'm a mechanic for the Department of Transportation, so i see it all, asphalt, tar, grease, dirt, grit, coolant, brake fluid, hydraulic oil, it never ends. I usually take my uniform shirt off and flip it clean side down in the seat, but still.
