Remove Gear Shift Handle

1991 Z28 with an automatic. How in the world do you remove the gear shift handle? Is it just glued on or is there a screw under the button on top (and if so how do you remove button)?

For the e-brake handle I see the set screw in the side but nothing on the gear shift.

Re: Remove Gear Shift Handle

there's a little clip on the front of it. "facing your radio" Just take a flat head and be gentle and pry the clip out it looks like a big staple
