My LED Interior

I put in all LED lights in the interior. They were referred to as Ice White, which really has a nice blue-y tinge to it. It really makes the car look just that much more complex, which i like

Dome Light, Courtesy Lights, Dash lights, center console light, and added light strips which are controlled by a rockerswitch underneath the dash.

Wow! That looks pretty sweet! What LEDs did you end up using and where did you get them?

Looks real nice. I've got a thread of my LED swapped interior as well. Just haven't gotten to the gauges yet

Re: My LED Interior

looks great I hope to do this to my camaro eventually. However, are the LED's dimmable? like the standard bulbs were?...that would have to be the deciding factor for me, seeing as how i like my speedo to be VERY dimmly lit while driving. I hate interior light at night while driving, it causes too much glare.

This is what the floor lights are - http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...87987-1-2.html
They are dangerously bright. Can't even explain. 194 type bulb

This is the mirror lights - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...81133-1-2.html
had to go with a slightly smaller bulb cuz the space in the mirror is extremely small. Also very bright.

Last but not least this is my dome light - http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=571666056014

From my experience, the 194 bulbs that most people use for dashboards are dimmable even if they're LEDs. Which is actually really sweet.

Re: My LED Interior

I got all my lights off ebay except for the lightstrips which can be bought at walmart or places like that. unfortunately it appears the exact company i got mine from isn't selling anymore, however these were just a 194 wedge bulb with 4 diodes. and they were cheap, i think it was like 11 dollars per pack of 10 and 3 or 4 to ship it where i'm from.

All the lights I'm using in my setup are 100% dimmable just like the factory setup

No problem! I'm sure the dome light link is dead but it gives an idea of what I used. Everything's still working well. Gives a really nice appearance at night. Next I've gotta tackle my dash.

I can see where you're coming from. In all my other cars i keep them really low, it just helps out with vision. But in the camaro there's two things, firstly i dont have a choice, second, aside from the drivers window, the glare isn't terrible.

Re: My LED Interior

If hooked properly into the original the lights they will dim and you can get all the l.e.d s you could possibly want from ebay they even have strips on there that have like 500 of the square leds into one long strip you just run 12v to or dimmer but the strip is like 1 1/2 the lenth of the car but has adhesive backing and can be broken into sections of 3 leds at a time.Available in all colors some even have a remote that changes like 50 different colors its only 24 dollars my blues were 9.00 w free shipping for over 20 feet of led stripping and have. the 10 led dome lights also!
