1988 IROC interior
1988 IROC interior
I am currently in the process of buying a rust free 1988 iroc from nevada. The car has no iterior other than the back seats, counsel, dash, steering wheel, and the trim pieces. What is the best way to make/buy some door pannels/seats? I want to go with uiversal racing seats from suming/jegs but the door pannels still pose a problem. Was thinking of buying a set of seats from a part out along with some door pannels. Also the car has a brand new headliner. Thanks, Brad.

There are a few threads on here about doing a rear seat delete. Its a lot of work. I attempted and failed. Not enough woodworking skills. Rear seats are easy to remove, I plan on doing 4th gen rear seats, and using a Q-logic sub box that they make custom for our 3rd gens

Re: 1988 IROC interior
the two bottom buckets cover some exposed metal that they mount too, and the folding back hides the metal brackets they are mounted too as well. So if you do and RSD (rear seat delete) then you need to cover those some sort of way for aesthetics.

might just have the rear seats reapulstered haha.

look into the 4th gen interior, easy to find, most of the interiors switch right over. dash and center console (with fab work) seats (bolt-on) some panels, etc. Driveshafts, rear ends and so on.
