I'm not "policing", I just think it's silly to reply with something like that, and to not offer any advice or information is really pointless.

The mirror is just going to stick to the glass with proper adhesive. You're going to have to run your own wiring through the headliner to power the light.

 

can you make the dimmer still? Work i think the 4gens have a dimmer box right? ................hows that for spelling ?

 

You want the map lights in the mirror to function off of the dimmer circuit? You could definitely wire it that way if that's what you're after, but I think the stock operation of the lights should be either "on" or "off" like your dome light.
