Interior trim won't go back in.

I took off my headliner board and replaced the headliner, but now I can get everything in but the stupid trim that goes on top of the doors by your head and down the windshield beam! any stupid trick? Or maybe I broke them? Idk!

Do you have the plastic pieces that hold them on? They can be bought at your local parts store.
If they are broke, take 1 with you to get the right ones.

Re: Interior trim won't go back in.

IIRC,
Yes they slip about 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

Take a look at the underside of the trim piece. Look to see if it has a slot for the retainer to slip in.

Our t-top trim had a slot.
Gently push it on then gently down toward the dash pad.

It's been a couple years but we'll be doing it again in spring for cleaning & final assembly of our interior.

Can you post a pic? I don't recall plastic screws. Maybe we need them for ours.
