The gaping hole left by my deleted rear seatbelts
I don't like the look of no trim cover there, yet the trim cover is a bulged piece for the seatbelt. What options are available?

Have to get panels from an earlier car without rear shoulder belts.

But while the seat belt retractor can be unbolted, the mount for it is welded on. And until you cut the mount off, the earlier plastic panels will not fit.

Does anyone have pics of the difference? I mean, will it fit the rest of my interior fine?
Cutting the mount off isn't a big deal.

A pic of what? The only difference will be that the plastic panel is smooth over the area that the rear shoulder belts come out of, made that way. Swap panels & you'll never know anything was changed. It will all fit fine.

Oh, I just wondered if there was a huge difference.
What are the earlier cars that classify? 1982-1984?

Rear shoulder belts didn't start until like 89 or so (i think). I know my 87 doesn't have them & I think my 89 did.
