Steering Wheel
My 88 Iroc has a square in the middle of the steering wheel instead of the round centers like I have seen on most other cars on this site. What gives? Is my car a clone or what?

Re: Steering Wheel
Most likely somebody just put a base model steering wheel on. Just check your RPO codes for "Z28" to verify that it's a real IROC.

I think what he is saying is: if you did not buy it new - make sure it is a true IROC or Z28... It could have been cloned to look like something it isn't.

Re: Steering Wheel
85 to 87 you could get a Z28 with or without the Iroc option. Technically they were all Z28's but we kinda refer to them as either a Z28 or an Iroc. ....88-90, you could only get the Iroc Z28. No "plain" Z28 option. So yes, technically speaking, all 88's were Irocs.
...unless of course you talking about ALL Camaros. Obviously there were base model cars etc. etc.

Thats what I was thinking. Then I looked at other interiors and some of the steering wheels were different. Everything else seems to be legit. I wonder if you got a different steering wheel if you ordered the 16in wheels or something?

Re: Steering Wheel
As far as I know, all Iroc steering wheels were the same, except for the '90 models because they added the airbag.
...like Jim and James have said, check for the Z 2 8 RPO
