Welcome to TGO, little.

You'd be well advised to post in our classifieds. Best of luck in your search.

camine?

What part are you looking for? You described your car, but not the part your looking for.

Re: rare interior part wanted

i would say good luck with your search i think i have seen 2 in my whole life with them. it was a rare option and in the used market i have seen 2 for the third gens one at thirdgen ranch and one at another place that does the same as thirdgen ranch both were going for around 500.00 for the bose system. and from what i understand with the bose system you have to have the radio, wiring, amps, speakers everything or it will not work. very rare and expensive. if you have the parts already there just in bad shape it would be better to try to restore them then find them.

I have one, in the color your looking for. I'm over seas right now and won't be home until late May. It will be for sale and you can have first dibs if you want to wait. It worked 100% before I stripped my car with no issues at all.

Re: rare interior part wanted

Wait are u guys talking about the little cover that goes between the hump and trunk hindge?I found one in the scrapyard a few days ago.in black.what are they worth?cause they told me I could have it for 10 dollars or less.the speakers were missing thought.I was dissapointed since I actually wanted the Bose stereo.250 on eBay seems insane.if it's Worth even 50 I'm Might even consider going to pull the dam thing

Re: rare interior part wanted

David.....Towards the top theres a picture posted of what we're talking about. Its a hindged cover that you can lift up to access/cover the "trunk" space. I would pull it if I were you to make a quick buck.

Little.....Thanks. I'm not military per say. I just work on a military ship loaded, ready to go if needed. Where are you from so I can get an idea as far as shipping?

Yep that's it.I doubt the car is still there but if it was how muh do u guys think I can get for it here on tgo? Black not broken but also no speakers.
Anybody got link to the eBay auctions?.
On another audio note I also found the sail panel that hold a square one and a round one instead of the 6x9 whats this worth?

Re: rare interior part wanted

I would guess at least $100. Granted theres one on Ebay, broken going for $250 and a good working one is $500 with the rest of the Bose equipment.

just the cover for 250 on eBay?got a link?
Btw excuse the language but dumbass me.here I was thinking it wasnt worth the 8 bucks because I would have to take apart my interior plastics to run cable to make it function in my car.Just my luck.Btw in that se car was also the kick panesl with speakers still in it but those were inaccesible because There was a 500 pound semi dissasembled church organ In it.

Re: rare interior part wanted

I don't. Scroll to the top and Jhainer talks about the Ebay listings he found. Ask him about it. I would take those kick panels in a heart beat. Im converting my interior from red to black. I sold mine with the speakers and so I'll be looking for black ones. I wish I lived where you do right now haha

Re: rare interior part wanted

WOW, this is interesting, I had no idea that you could get Bose in a 3rd gen, and even more interesting, they mounted the speakers on the super-rare locking trunk dividers.

The only downside to this is that if the Bose stereos in F-Bodies are anything like they were in C4 Corvettes, 99% of them need new speakers/amps. They seem to always been worn out in C4s, regardless of the mileage/condition of the rest of the car. They're always that one thing that just never works like it used to.

I just tossed a decent one at the dump a few weeks ago because after a year I couldn't find a buyer even on here. Also I had tried craigslist and ebay with no success and that was selling it for $75 with all wiring in great shape.
