what seats....

What seats will fit a third gen rs without much effort . I even heard some Nissan ones will fit. But that's like like blasphemous to me. Maybe vette or viper.
Don't wanna break the bank either, and can't have them too tall, I'm 06'03" and 230 lbs.
Thanks in advance to all that respond.

A crushed import a day keeps the blues away.

4th gen seats will fit with no modifications unless you want to have power.

Re: what seats....

Get a set of 4th Gen seats with power lumbar and side bolsters. In the 95's there is a single pump under the driver's seat. Can fab up harness that runs under the carpet and you can get power under the center console. A single air line runs between the two seats to inflate or deflate the seats.

Ok I'll look for some in the wrecking yard, then have Covergirl recover them.

Most of the time the junk yard one's just need a good cleaning. I did this on mine & they look great!!!

I paid $200 for my 4th gen seats (front & back), $5 for the harness which I pulled out of the same car at the junk yard & $5 for resolve carpet cleaner.

So for $210 I have what appear to be NEW seats w/a power driver seat + it all bolts right in!!!!!

Re: what seats....

Sounds like a plan.

By the way, that red Camaro is exceptionally nice.
The rims really complement the rest of the car.
mine is far from that nice. But I saved it from the crusher. So with a little tlc I'll revive her.

Thank you for the nice words sir!!! Believe it or not, mine was headed for the crusher as well. Here is a pic when I got her:

The previous owner was going to give her up for $50 to the salvage folks. She had NOT cranked in 6 + years.
