I'm going to remove the t-handle, and fabricate a way to make it work. I love a challenge lol

Re: Shifter ****

goodluck, i know a few ppl who have tried, thing is you need the button to get the car in and out of park otherwise you'll slip in and out of it when the car is parked and you'll be loosely stuck out of everygear with it not being able to "pop" back up

not with the b&m shifter the lever infront of the thandle controls all that,
mounting one of those 5 speed shifter ***** on the b&m wont be an issue

now on a stock shifter it would be

I found this...

Auto Shift **** Adapter

However it's for 4th Gen cars, 93 and up. Instead of pushing the button in, you push "down" on the shifter ****.

I just dont know if it'll work for a 3rd gen.

Does anyone know if the 3rd and 4th Gen T-handles operate the same? If they do, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

This is true. You have to have a way to push the rod down in the center of the shifter shaft if useing the stock shifter. There are shift ***** out there that are made for auto shifters and have a correct button on them.

Re: Shifter ****

I plan on using this shifter.. looks low profile, i hear it works great. If I can find a way to make it work, I think it'll be kinda cool..

Re: Shifter ****

I think it would be great if you could make those work for an automatic. I like the idea and would bet you find a way to make it work. Let us know how it turns out.
Because I could not find anything I liked for the T56 I have waiting to go in, I have been contemplating an older auto shift ****. If I can make it work the way I want then It would compliment the rest of the car.
