I am looking for a light indicator that can light up each gear i am in. I dont think any of these came stock, just the whole area lighting up when the lights are turned on. If i have to do a aftermarket piece what should i use and can i be done.

I want to say they light up on the later model year cars...I'm sure someone will chime-in and let us know for sure.

Mine doesn't. I have an '89 T/A.

 

im working on a side project that is something similar to what you are looking for. the strip will stock when off. when on all the letters/numbers will be lit up blue exept for the gear your in, that will be red. the colors are my choice someone could easily change them. but the concept/project is still in prossess.
