Im redoing the interior in my 82 z28 and it is currently brown with the brown contour seats. Theyre pretty beat up so somthing will need to be done. The issue im unsure of is the seats are the ones that say "camaro" all up and down them. Correct me if im wrong but i believe the contours in the 82s didn't normally come with the camaro graphics. Is there any chance they could be factory? If so how rare are they? they appear to be just as aged as the rest of the car. would it be worth getting them reapolstered? I like the seats but im more into black interiors so if they werent all that rare or they werent original i was going to sell them and get some aftermarket seats with 4 point harnesses and do the rest of the interior in black. Ill try and get some pics up asap, but id sure appreciate some help. ive searched and i couldnt seem to come up with anything.

 

and also it has the electric adjustable stuff too if that helps. To me it appears someone pulled this interior from an 85 and put it in a long time ago, but i just want to get some other opinions. Would hate to mess somthing up if its rare.

 

Thats probably because you searched contour and not conteur. Here is some info you might find useful on those seats. Brown with lettering was a 83-84 only color. 85 had saddle (tan) seats to replace the brown. If you truly have a 82 camaro, then someone somewhere along the way probably put that interior in it or your mistaken and you have a 83 instead. My buddy has a '92 25 anniversary car though his title says its a 91 for some reason. Not really as uncommon as you think.
