New Interior Is Installed!
At long last, I've received and installed my new seat covers and door panels compliments of Mr. Mikes. The attention to detail and high quality work left me blown away. I cannot stress how pleased I am with the results. It took about 6-8 hours to recover the seats and install the door panels. I couldn't be happier.
Here's some eye candy.

Looks really good man! I was talking to you over on Mifbody about the interior. I'm thinking of going with the classic industries or hawks covers.

Thanks! I was hoping to make it to some last season shows, but the UPS man just didn't arrive in time. Oh well, i'll make it to the meet & greet in the spring and hopefully turn some heads and burn some tires.

Re: New Interior Is Installed!
I got a set of seat track covers when your ready to do the carpet.
If you can find a used set of clean oe carpet I would recommend it. I used the ACC carpet in my 91, and just was not as happy with feel, and color comparo to original. I bought a wrecked 91 for the carpet in the 92 and man does it clean easier and fit is better. After getting the used carpet out I even thought about swapping my acc carpet to the convertible... a thought

Re: New Interior Is Installed!
I've put aftermarket carpet into my old trans am and it fit like poo. I have the seat track covers, just didn't put them in. They need a little TLC yet.
To be honest, i was hoping the carpet's condition wouldn't be very noticeable but the more I see it, the more unhappy I become. My first order of business is a new steering wheel and upgraded interior lighting.

Sounds like it'll have to happen then!
As for steering wheels, I was thinking about this one from summit but the more I look at it, the more I don't like it.

I'm pretty sure these summit wheels are just rebadged forever sharp wheels. I am leaning toward this one. Lost an ebay auction the other day

This one is pretty cool, but i don't know how I feel about the brushed finish. I'd probably paint it flat black.

I'd really rather not use a grant wheel. No offense to anybody that uses them, I just think they're overdone.

did the sound deadener in the floor really help?
it sounds like a lot of my interior noise is coming from the hatch area.

Re: New Interior Is Installed!
If your still thinking about your steering wheel, this should make you feel a little bit better about using the similar designs you posted. This is used Billet Specialties with similar design...

Re: New Interior Is Installed!
oh boy that BS wheel is pricey. I'm going to go with the black forever sharp wheel. I think i may put it on my xmas list along with the pro 5.0 shifter as nice stocking stuffers.
