seat compatability?

Does anyone know of any other factory seats besides 4th generation seats that fit the front seats? im just trying to widen my options, i have red seats and im in florida, so leather or vinyl isnt the best option.... so i have to stick with cloth. but anyone know of others that will fit with slight mod or just bolt right in, and what are the suggested ones for comfort, dont wanna get one that you cant stand even going to the store, or going to work. want one where i can go for hour long rides and not hurt after lol.

~Thanks!!!!!~

Re: seat compatability?

I know Camaro seats bolt right to G-body tracks and go right in them so I would think it would work the other way around. Buick Regals had some comfy seats.

I'm glad somebody already asked this question. Now I don't feel so stupid. Also, does anyone know if 2nd gen seats will fit. And if there are any seats besides 4th gen or camaro ( I can't find any that are any better than what I have) then I would be very interested in knowing.

Re: seat compatability?

You can adapt just about any GM seat to the 3rd gen tracks, but only 3rd or 4th gen will bolt in. F- bodies have very different floors than other cars, including 2nd gen.

Re: seat compatability?

I'm pretty confident g-body seats will bolt right in with the f-body tracks. I had camaro seats in my cutlass using the cutlass tracks. They bolted right too it, same exact spacing.

Re: seat compatability?

Yes, you can use many seats, but you need third or fourth gen tracks.
