Ive seen it done but have no clue how to make it fit. I understand cutting is required which i have no problem with doing. Can someone please lead me down the right path. i have already put the cd player to the top and the ac controls to the bottom but will i need a custom bezel or simply cut it out until it fits?

Yeah thats how I got it on by turning it upside down but didn't want to cut the bezel. Might just cut it and hope everything goes smoothly. Lol

Re: Swap A.C controls with Cd player.....

Thanks. Looks great. This is what I want to put in my baby. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-PD-931NB.html so that's why I need to flip the hvac and cd player around to have enough space to hang down. I'm not worried about covering the ac controls as the screen is motorized. Btw your car is beautiful...

Re: Swap A.C controls with Cd player.....

salfirebird92 I thought about getting a 7 inch but I had the 8 inch screen that spinned and flipped out. So I decided to go bigger. I'll show you how the 9 inch looks once I go buy it. What size rims are those?

I didn't see that it was a 9" but yeah I think you should put it on the vent area will look better....They're big for some people but I like them cuz they fit perfect they don't look as big in Person They're 22" rims

Re: Swap A.C controls with Cd player.....

Its been done....I have seen it done bad and good....Its something I'm going todo ...and my own idea is to replace my rearview mirror with a gps unit but I want one that has a video input for a rearview camera.....the best way that I seen the center vent was where they cut the bottom to fit the radio ...the worst one is where they cut the dash pad....

If any of you have pictures of the vent install please post them. I'm getting 22" Rockstarr 620s for my 87 and black coated 22" on my 94 z28

Re: Swap A.C controls with Cd player.....

Yea I think imma go 22s in the back and 20s up front for both of them. I want to run the kicker L7s in both but haven't had any success finding a box that will fit my 94 z28 since its convertible.

Re: Swap A.C controls with Cd player.....

Yeah I have those in my 87 right now. Was thinking bout putting those in my 94 and square L7s in the 87 seeing as they have the square sub box on ebay for like $100. But going square seems to be giving me a kiss in the ***...
