5 point harness

How would u put a 5 pt harness in a fbody with out cage. What would can u bolt it to. My car has t tops

Run it out the t-tops, down the back of the car, under the bumper and onto the exhaust piping.

but a better idea would be to utilize the function on the site, ITS BEEN DONE BEFORE someone somewhere has written up how, i know for a fact there was a pretty intense argument about it in one thread do some searching and reading, noones going to spoon feed you information thats what school was for

Email Simpson, or any other maker of 5 point harnesses and ask them if they would approve of using them on the street in a car with no cage.

Doubt they are DOT approved either.

5 point harnesses require a harness bar.

For your drivers seat, if only you will be driving, mount the straps to the rear slide rail bolts or anywhere below shoulder height (note: you will probably die in the event of a crash).

For your passengers or if anyone else drives your car, don't risk their safety, leave the stock seat belts in.

thats what someone said in the other thread that sparked the argument, thats illegal iirc and will certainly cause you to be killed in a crash
