Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 308------3.73 auburn unit
stick swap
Hey, i was wondering if anyone knew if the bracket for auto matic is the same for manual.I have a 1985 z28 camaro and i was planning on making it stick.I was also wondering if i should go the z bar route or hydralic thank you.

I have done this swap and I would recommend you go with the stock hydraulic clutch linkage. It works very well as designed with the stock clutch pedal. If you are talking about the transmission crossmember as your "bracket", yes they are the same.
When I did this swap, I bought a 91 Firebird parts car for $500. Removed all the parts I needed to do the swap and then sold the remaining car for $400 plus sold my original auto trans for another $275. The extra money helped to pay for a new clutch, flywheel facing, new master & slave cylinders. So, it can be done pretty inexpensively if you have time to wait for the right opportunities.
