I am looking to replace just my speedometer with an aftermarket electronic speedometer that closely resembles stock. I just can't deal with these aftermarket speedometer cables being too long and burning against my long tubes along with the constant bouncing of the needle even after using graphite.
I already have acquired a autometer sending unit converter that adapts my th400 speedometer output to a 16 ppr signal.

So I guess my question is, since my car is in storage at the moment, what diameter is our speedometers. Secondly, has anyone done such a conversion? I see plenty of autometers with black faces that may match close enough for my liking and get me a 160mph+ reading.
