Vent Question??

So all of the vents in my dash are completely loose, they tend to swing around in my 88 IROC with every stop and go, or turn that I make. Anyone else have this problem? And, what is the easiest fix?

Re: Vent Question??

Cool, never knew about the tech article. I have been using a 50 cent piece for each of the center vents. I'll try this now.

I didn't know about the tech article either, but I used automotive silencer tape on mine. Same result.

Re: Vent Question??

Tried the Velcro trick today, works sweet. Good chance to clean everything.

I put small x-section o-rings around the pins.

Re: Vent Question??

1/4" wide foam weather strips (the kind used on screen doors) work very well . just a small strip on end of vent louvers . has worked for me on all of my cars/trucks . good luck .
