door lock rod clips
door lock rod clips
Hello. I drive a 92 v6 camaro. Recently I had my lock cylinder broken out. Fortunately the car was still locked when I found it and nothing was taken. I got these cylinders

And this clip

I have not tried fixing it yet but my concern is this. The clip attaches snuggly too the end of the cylinder but I think that as soon as a little weight is the rod is attached, it will just fall off. Is there another piece I need to ensure it stays on the end of the cylinder? Or will this suffice? Or should I glue this on? Thanks for the help

Re: door lock rod clipsy
Where can I get one and what's it called? Just a lock lever?
Edit: sorry form posting twice. It sent me to a third party site so I hit the back button and it sent me back to my message so I thought it didn't post. I apologize

Your probably going to have to pull one from a yard to get that part off it, I don't think it is re produced.

Re: door lock rod clips
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I was just working on my locks and was needing a diagram. This one is close. I have power locks. If I look at this correctly, part 29 goes to the lock itself. Im assuming part 29 ultimately attaches to the longish rod (the acuator is in between part 29 and the long rod) that runs to the lock hanldle on the door. Is there a plastic piece that part 29 attaches too? The reason I ask is because I got some pieces of plastic out of that area..
Thanks,
Chris

Did you find the clips as I can see if I have a few if you need them
