I have a '88 GTA with broken driver bracket/slide track (manual). I have found lots parts companies and eBay showing the version with the black "****" release arm. I can't find anyone who has the "hook" style release arm I believe for the optional bucket seat. Looking for guidance to a reliable source. I'd like to stay original.

Otherwise, since I accidentally bought a bracket with the "****" style, can someone tell me whether this bracket/slide track will fit on the bucket seat?
I don't want to get the seat apart only to find that the track sits higher or lower.

Are you talking about the track that has 2 hook handles,1 reclines and the other moves the seat back and forward ??if yes then,Yes,all the bolt holes in the seats are the same.

Yes one "hook" in the front to allow front/rear travel, and one handle on the side for backrest recline.


BTW I have relatives in Mantua, NJ and I grew up in Cherry Hill.

 

Both handles are in front,not on the side. so your from S.Jersey also,where do you live now?

 

I'll have to go check again. Car is stuffed in the detached garage with the bikes and it's 15 degrees; I'll try to check. Cleveland and it's stinking cold; S. Jersey not as bad as I've heard from friends I still have there. Been away 20 years now - used to hit Front Street back in the day - visit annually.

Hey Mantaguy, I HAD to go check despite the cold. And YES my seat tracks are what you have in your photo and these are what I CANNOT find. Guess I'll have to keep looking.
