fourth gen seatbelt differences
I am prepping to do the 4th gen seatbelt mod. I picked a nice Driver side seatbelt out of a 96 firebird. I bought the passenger side off of Ebay (believe it is out of a 93 camaro). I have noticed there is a difference in the buckles.
One is black and small (stay out of the gutter
) and the other is larger with beige trim. Neither of them fit my stock receivers (switching to Cavalier receivers anyways). Only the beige one fits the cavy receiver properly. What did I do wrong here? The people who have done this mod, what did you do to over come this situation?

Re: fourth gen seatbelt differences
You could do two things if you have beechwood tan like me:
1. By a set of nuetral tan belts from a 97 ish car and prep and paint them with Fiero beechwood paint which is an exact match for our beechwood color. I did mine over the summer and they still look perfect. I should have hit it with clear though because when someone else drives and moves the seat the seatbelt latch likes to move too, flaking some of that paint in areas that can't be seen.
2. Buy a set of black belts and don't paint anything.
