Plastic Trim Surround for Door Armrest
Plastic Trim Surround for Door Armrest
Working on my daughters 1989 GTA. Took the door panel apart to troubleshoot the power door locks. Got that fixed. While taking it apart I noticed that at the skinny upper end of the armrest there is a small flat plastic trim piece that sits between the armrest and the door panel and just makes it look nicer. GM Part numbers are 20634464 and 20634465. They've been discontinued.
Once I noticed this piece I looked at the passenger door and saw that it was missing on that door. The one one the drivers side disintegrated when I pulled the armrest off the door panel into about 10 small pieces.
Already checked ebay and Hawk's and guessing these are not re-pop'd. If they are would some point me in the right direction? If not, I am looking for a set. If anyone has a set they'd like to sell, send me a PM.

No repros yet, they are hard to find. You could post in the wanted section.

DaVe Brecht over at https://www.facebook.com/groups/70821697320/ is 3D Printing them .
These look awesome, reproduction armrest trim pieces. They are painted with SEM vinyl paint - Camel.
Gauging the interest level to see if enough people want them to make it worth doing a batch. Let me know which you are interested in.
Straight off the 3D printer - $15 shipped / set
Sanded, primed, and color matched - $35 shipped / set
I am sanding them down with 100# and 220# to remove the 3D printing texture, then priming/sanding twice. Finishing them off with 3 coats of Camel interior paint.

Bob, I just need black but would happily pay for the $35 set. Please let me know. I have other stuff for the interior on order. Would be great to get these in so I can finish it off.

Re: Plastic Trim Surround for Door Armrest
I tried just googling the part numbers and all I can find is that it is a discontinued part. I did see where there are a ton of people trying to find them though. Hope some repro companies have their ears on! over and out...
