any body change their pedals to other than stock?
i have been thinking and looking for a set of pedals thats are not cheap. something of a better quality then the crap you can get from the local autozone. i came across these. don't know how they mount but they look good.

Pffffffff it's something I step on every day, mine didn't have the rubber cover on it when I got the car, I went to a local skate shop and got some grip tape scraps and covered the brake pedal with that. It's real nice when it's raining. Much better than rubber. Those ebay specials sure do look nice though.

Function > looks
I've tried a few aftermarket pedal sets and have found I slide off them easier than the stock rubber.
I'd love to find a set that grips my boot... and that 'grid' style in the link the OP posted look perfect...

If your looking for fictional above all else, stop in a skate shop, 17th street, coastal edge, anything like that, and ask for some grip tape scraps or buy a cheap roll. It's amazing how well it works.

MBA's. Don't know, however, if they're still available.

Are those covers? I wanted to knurl the surface on mine, but ive never had any issue with slippage.

I believe the flat part, which is what we consider the pedal is just lightly welded to the arm. Why not grind that off and weld on a slab of stainless that has been dimple died upwards. Could look identical to some I've seen online and in auto parts stores. Could also use aluminum but you would need a 90* bracket on its back to bolt to the arm.

I have the black anodized ones from Performance Pedal. This is the only picture I have right now, if you want a better one let me know and I'll snap it tomorrow.

How about a set up that makes heel-toe manipulation easier?
My GMC Canyon it was pretty easy, I have a heck of a time in the T/A, they are too far apart and sit at uneven levels which is even worse when the brake is pressed.
