What companies make a new hatch release switch or power mirror switch? Have looked around with no luck. Thanks

Yeah I'd avoid third gen ranch. There's nothing good that has been said by people about them. If you don't have to have new, I'm sure you can find some on here. I know somebody on here is selling a pair of rear hatch switches but they are from a corvette of the same era. They should work without modification and I think he wants $15 for both.

As far as brand new, I can't help you there. Hawks third gen is probably the best place I currently know of for stuff that's hard to find or impossible to find and sometimes is only available from them. 1A auto is good but they don't have power window switches so they might not have the hatch switch.

 

i have some parts here from "1A auto " door panel tops and outer window sweeps . they will be going in the trash . you can almost smell the chineseium . dont buy from them

 

If you were being serious I will take those sweeps off your hands and save them from the trash.

 

yes im serious . the quality , or should i say total lack of it . was funny . but theyre already gone . in NO way were they made right , or from premium materials.

 

Sorry Rusty,I have to disagree on the window sweeps and that trim piece from 1A.



These been on my car for about 5 years now and absolutely no problems with them at all.

 

in comparison to originals . i found them lacking in thickness and over all ,,just had a look of "ah , thats close enough "

Just a note on thirdgenranch.com:

I badly needed a new/used air d*m for my 84 Z.
Thirdgenranch had a used one for $10 bucks.
I ordered it and paid thru Paypal (just in case).
