IIRC it's 12,I just replaced my motors and I'm almost positive their was more than 9

Just did a few hours battle with my power window motor, and failed to get it out. Watched several video's drilled three holes and it is still attached to bracket in door. Any thoughts or good video's to watch? Please help I can't stand it when I start something and can't finish.
