Compass/thermometer mirror
I built my current thirdgen out of my last 85' and a 86' roller I bought. Lost the 85 due to an old guy making an illegal u-turn after installing a new Hood from Hawks, 3 inch exhaust with cherry bomb extreme mufflers and 406 I built from scratch. Anyway enough about that. The 86 didn't have a rear view mirror so off I went to the junk yard with a pocket knife and after a couple quick slices and a well placed smack to a silverados windshield with a tailpipe, I left with a mirror and a temerature sensor.... 5 wire hookup 1 ground, 2 power, 2 signal. Anyway I think it looks cool and I now know what way I'm pointing and how hot or cold it is for less then $20.

I did the same thing, but I pulled mine from an Oldsmobile and got one with the auto-dimming feature.
