LTX and LSXPutting LT1s, LS1s, and their variants into Third Gens is becoming more popular. This board is for those who are doing and have done the swaps so they can discuss all of their technical aspects including repairs, swap info, and performance upgrades.
I've finally made it to the last part of my swap... Wiring. I've pretty much nailed down a game plan on getting this thing finished but have a couple questions.
Which wire powers the fuel pump? By the diagram I have it shows a Tan/White wire on the C100 as the fuel control. Is this the one I need to hook my Painless fuel pump power wire to?
Also, for a 12v switched power source. Would it be better to use the large pink coil wire from the C100 or to locate a fused wire on the C207 under the dash? This harness gets 12v constant from the starter lug, so that part is easy...
Other than those couple things the rest is easy... Hope to have this new motor fired up this weekend if possible.
Correct, the TAN-WHT colored wire is the fuel pump B+.
Yes, you can grab switched power from the old PNK coil wire. It is on a fusible link so just be aware if it blows that you're replacing that link rather than a more simple job of replacing a fuse.

Thanks, we got it wired up and working great. Appreciate the help!
Yup, the C100 holds the FP wire for 88-92. Earlier cars with an in-tank pump had it in the C207
12V IGN for the fuseblock or any stand alone can hook into any pnk wire on the car. Since you've got alot of stuff near the C207 already, Id use one of those. Doesnt matter which, they all should have 12v IGN
