Hello, I am new TGO. I recently acquired a 1988 Iroc vert, 5-speed, G92, that is Black with Beachwood Interior and gold 16" wheels. I love the color combination and want to keep it stock. I have received samples from 1A Auto, Stock Interiors, and Rock Auto, but so far I am not seeing a true match with the color. Does anyone know where I can order carpet in the Beechwood color, or do you know of another color that you used that was close? The closest I have found so far is cognac with 1A Auto. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Try Hawks 3rd gen 864-855-2694 they have helped me a bunch.

 

There is no perfect match to the original. The closest match in the ACC colors would be Cognac.
This is a Cognac mat from ACC on top of my original Beechwood carpet. If it is too dark for your liking, some people use the color Doeskin as well, which is lighter then the original.

 

Thanks for the pic. I like that and I would go darker over lighter. Where did you buy yours? Did you get the mass backing? Did you find any floor mats to match? Thanks again for the help!

 

I just sent an email to ACC... I bought a "beachwood" set from them, carpet, mats, extra material.... it was not Cognac.... but actually labeled "beachwood"....

I inquired if they still have or can make that color... I have a black Firebird and I wanted "tan", but most things I saw were too light & to me, looked sun faded...

The beachwood is a nice rich tan, Ferrrari esqu, or peanut butter....

I'll post here what they say...

I replaced my beechwood carpet with ACC doeskin about 10 years ago. It was lighter for sure, and while it looked good, I never really liked it. .....I replaced it again last fall, this time with ACC Cognac. MUCH better, although it's not perfect. Honestly being just a tad darker...I actually like it better.

 

luvofjah - let me know what you find out. Right now my vert. is being painted (the original black), then a new top, (original top was black, but I am considering a tan top, just can't find a single pic of a third gen black camaro/trans-am and a tan top), and then the carpet. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

Well, Poo....

The "beachwood" had a slight hint of Puerto Rican orange tint to it...

Sadly, ACC says no longer, that color has been deleted...

I actually scanned the invoice from 2008 and sent it to them...

I think this was just when they were acquiring ACS, and it was possibly their product...
