T-top sunshade question
Did all third-gen t-top cars come with t-top sunshades? I've never seen a car with them and wondered if these were an option or something. I'm assuming they all got ruined when the t-tops started to leak. Were they always the same color as the interior?
Re: T-top sunshade question
I've never seen a set with the earlier cars. They were OE on the later cars. They're color matched, same material as the headliner. Just like headliners, the foam breaks down and the cloth sags with time.

The first year I ever found them in (from the factory) was an 87 Firebird.

Re: T-top sunshade question
I have a set that came with my 84 15th Anniversary TA. Not sure if they were original or not but they have white fabric (at least what's left of it) to match the white interior.

Re: T-top sunshade question
I bought some on eBay years ago that were never opened. They were manufactured by CoverCraft. I used them as a template to have new ones made by a local upholstery shop. They didn't cost too much and they match the headliner, since that was done at the same time.
