Torx Sizes Needed? Seatbelt and Seats

Hi-
Bought the new seat belt buckles (floor mount next to console) and want to remove the seats or cleaning, eventually new carpet. Also have new headliner on order. May need to replace driver seatbelt ceiling mechanism due to sticking lock mechanism (I found thread on that).
What torx sizes do I need to work on these specific issues, and/or, interior in general - I don't mind buying one larger set for future needs.
Thx!

You will need a #50 torx bit to remove the recievers from the floor.
I can only assume the others also use a 50 also as I have never
removed them.

Better have 2 of them because the floor torx bolts are usually
rusted in place and you prob. will break a torx bit.

Torx 50 is tight and you will have to bang it into the bolt.I believe the correct one is a torx 47

I use a torx 50. And I ALWAYS use an impact gun to take them on or put them off. For some reason I round them if I use a ratchet or a bar. I have a plug in electric one that I use a lot (I got it free with an impact set) so it's a cheaper gun. I don't really torque them back in too hard, just snugged up.

47 has always fit fine on all the seat belt hold downs,15mm on the seat tracks.50 torx seems like its a mm too big.

Re: Torx Sizes Needed? Seatbelt and Seats

yep its a t47, tap it into the bolt head with a dead blow to make sure its fully sunk into the the grooves, put your left hand on the ratchet right above the bolt and put downward pressure while loosening the bolt with your right hand to avoid stripping it. those seatbelt reciever bolts can be stubborn
