Fit question

I'm sure you guys have dealt with this question before, so pardon me as I haven't been able to find much good information. I'm 6'6" (34" inseam, slightly more torso than legs), and I'm wondering if a 3rd gen Camaro would be a good fit for me. I'd be willing to put in extended runners for the seats, and I would plan on getting a convertible. This would be my daily driver. I want a fun car that not everyone has, that I don't need to make monthly payments on. I love the 3rd gen Camaros, so I'm doing my research. Is there something similar that would be a better fit? I've been in a C5 Vette and fit decently. Would a 4th gen Camaro or C5 Vette be a better choice for me than a 3rd gen Camaro? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to replies.

Re: Fit question

I'm 6'6", 36 inseam and fit fine. Oddly I fit my 92 better than my 86. I made brackets to move the seat about 2" further back in my 86.

Re: Fit question

Oh you make monthly payments on a daily driver thirdgen too, they're just in the form of regular maintenance and keeping the thing going. That's why the only ones you see driven daily are usually beat to hell.

Re: Fit question

My buddy who was 6’6” 300lbs back in the day bought an IROC over a C4 Vette because he didn’t fit in the Vette but found the IROC very comfortable.. 4th gen Camaros were fine for him too. He was excited for the C5 because he felt it was pretty comfortable. With the Camaros I think the front seats can go back a little further but the Vettes are limited since they don’t have rear foot wells.

you’d have to try out some cars man!
