Issues with Dash Bulbs

I have tried two different types of bulbs. First I tried some 194 bulbs that had been setting on my shelf for a while and they would'nt light. Bought new 161 longlife Sylvania (161LL.BP2) and they would not work either. The Sylvania are listed as 14V, 2.7W not sure if that is the issue or not. I moved some of the old bulbs that still work to the spots that are out and they still work.

Can anyone recommend and bulbs that are known to work?

Re: Issues with Dash Bulbs

194s should be correct. Sometimes the sockets get oxidized. Try plugging the bulb in and back out again a few times to rub a fresh contact. You can also get the bulbs already in a new socket.

Re: Issues with Dash Bulbs

Turns out the leads from the bulbs were not touching the socket. Bent them out and made sure they are touching the contacts. All the bulbs light up now.
