Seat belt question
Hello everyone,
The seat belts on my 88 GTA are destroyed. I called Classic Industries and inquired about their aftermarket ones. They informed me the retractor plastic that I have on the car would need to be modified in order to get them to fit. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried them and has any info or opinions on them, since there seem to be no other options than looking for used ones. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

Re: Seat belt question
Depending on the color you can still buy them NOS for about $139 each. I just replaced the gray belts in my 87 IROC

I found a place out of Missouri that had aftermarket insides for your belts, that also was selling NOS belts. He was on flea bay, and I've used him for a couple of things. He might have some, or you might just buy some used ones and replace with new covers and new buttons that you can get all over (its not that hard either). I've done both. Good luck!

Re: Seat belt question
modern day muscle or hawks have NOS. Hawks if you call them also have alot of parts cars depending on how nice you want to go in the end.
Also there are a lot of companies that will rebuild them for you. You can get from stock to wild colors (you know you want neon green belts LOL) if you get them re-webbed. Modern belts will jam up in almost any accident so an industry has emerged where they rework them and put new webbing in.
What color are you looking for?

Neon green sounds tempting, but I think I'd stick to the tan/beechwood interior, lol!
