Trouble recovering parade boot
I have tried recovering my parade boot 4 times and the vinyl pulls up in the corners each time. It will look great when I’m done but a couple of days in the Texas heat and vinyl pull loose from the board. This is happening in the curve where it wraps around to the seats backs, right before where the shoulder belts come out of the tonneau. The first two times I used dap contact cement and the last two I used 3M 90 adhesive. Does anyone have any suggestions on different glues or methods. Thanks!

Its pricey but I'd try Weldwood's Landau Top and Trim Adhesive. That's what many professionals use. I'd also be sure you are properly prepping the area, acetone should work for a wipe down. If the area is glossy and smooth you'll need to scuff it with some sandpaper.

Check with topdownsolutions.com and see if he has a recommended solution or possibly form fitted material.
I would try also to try to pre shape it as much as possible water and heat you can usually press in a shape in most material.
If you haven't already look up material bias understand how that effects stretch and rebound of the material. Its a fine line between no wrinkles and enough looseness for temperature expansion/shrinkage.

I've also understood that the glues stick better to actual leather and not as well to the PVC/vinyl/synthetic concoctions that are less expensive to buy.
