I'm contemplating buying a 91 Z28 convertible. The car is red with red interior, however the trunk carpet and glove box and moldings are black. I've heard it should have red the entire way back. Can someone verify?

 

Front and rear colors should match, yes.

 

on the verts i believe the trunk section was redone by asc in black , the color to match all other colors

my brothers 92 vert is white with red interior and has the blacked out trunk area

my 90 vert is white with gray interior also has the blacked out trunk area

 

My 89 iroc vert had red interior but black trunk panels.I know the earlier verts had all the same color panels.I swapped my interior to saddle tan and I’ve acquired the rear panels in saddle tan from an 87 iroc vert to match

 

My 89 Formrmula 350 vert has a gray interior with modified Gray plastics an carpet in trunk.
My 92 Trans Am with gray interior has Black molder carpets on the sides (instead of the modified factory plastics, black rear plastic and black carpet.
